Design is thinking
made visual.

I believe that everything we create to some extent changes the world we live in. Every chair, every website and every poster modify our reality — “We cannot not change the world.” Consequently, everything we do as designers has an impact on the world. In my designs I will strive to make my impact a sustainable one.

I currently work as Head of Design at Ørsted where we just launched the biggest rebrand project ever seen in Denmark. Read more about that here

The biggest rebranding project in Danish history.

DONG Energy becomes Ørsted – with a brand and identity that reflects our green ambition. An extremely wild and exciting process with many great people involved.

As design lead I have been a part of the whole process – from the very first name workshops, designing the logo and the identity – to the creative workshops for the brand strategy. In the last 6 months’ focus has been to roll out the design in numerous platforms in collaboration with a lot of great agencies and the amazing in-house design team.

We have created the visual identity with Kontrapunkt and the brand strategy with Wieden+Kennedy.

Read more about the process in the article "Building a Sustainable Brand: The Ørsted Story" on The Works Design here.
